This is a personalized fitness + nutrition coaching program specifically for women and men age 40+. Our team of University trained Kinesiologists and Medical Exercise Specialists will give you the accountability, and and support you need to reach your goals.  

Together, we'll implement our simple, yet extremely effective exercise and nutrition system.

What We Are Doing to Keep You Safe
We are strictly following the guidelines set out by WorkSafe BC

Physical Distancing

You will be a minimum of 2 meters apart from all other members and coaches at all times. There are clearly marked training zones that you will have entirely to yourself.

Hand Hygiene

All members are required to wash hands before their session and hand sanitizer is available throughout the facility.

Limited Participants

With a maximum of 3 members per training slot and staggered sessions, our facility is never over-crowded and you will have lots of personal space.

Equipment Handling

All equipment will be disinfected between each session. You will not be sharing equipment with any other members during your session.

 When does it start?

You can start as soon as you sign up, providing space is available. We are only starting a set number of people each week to give everyone the best personal attention.

 What happens if I want to keep going after the 6-Weeks?

Many of our participants choose to continue training after the initial program and become full Ascend Fitness members. You'll get some exclusive incentives for our ongoing training and we will help you continue right on going towards reaching all of your health and fitness goals!

 What if I will be away during the 6 weeks? 

It is important that you are able to complete all of your training sessions within 6 weeks to see the results you desire. You can compress some of your sessions should you be away for a few days (example using 1 session 1 week, 3 the next instead of 2x per week). 

 What if I don't need to lose a bunch of weight, I want to get healthier and feel better. Is this right for me?

The program is specifically geared for results. Contrary to popular belief; whether you want to lose weight, tone up, build lean muscle, or just live a healthy lifestyle, the underlying healthy fitness & nutrition principles that get you there are one and the same. Staying consistent on the program no matter what your starting point will get you exactly the results you're looking for. 

What are the available times for the training sessions?

Our studio has training times available from: 5:30AM to 8PM Monday to Friday and 7AM to 2PM on Saturdays.

We have sessions starting almost every 1/2 hour during the times above and you have the flexibility to book different times on different days. Please allow yourself 60 minutes for each training session. Please note: preferred session times are first come first serve. Register NOW to get your preferred times! 

What if I haven't worked out in a long time? Or ever?

That is OKAY!
We work with many members just like you who may be new to training or have not been doing physical activity in some time. Our coaching and program design ensure that you are working towards YOUR goals, at YOUR own personal fitness level, and keeping you injury free while getting the motivation you need. You are never in "competition" with any other members and it is one of our top priorities to create a non-intimidating environment in our facility. 

Am I required to purchase pre-made meals, or follow a crazy restrictive diet?

No!
Our easy and tasty recipes focus on whole foods, prepared at home, that are friendly for the entire family. You will be eating a good variety of foods and eating healthy portion sizes to support your increased exercise volume. No gimmicks or starvation diets here! We hate gimmicks and fad diets...
